INetU Now Offers European Managed Hosting

INetU, a provider of managed hosting services launched that it now provides web hosting services from a data center based out of Amsterdam Netherlands. The company has distributed the news through press release published in PRNewswire.com. It has also reported that it passed a third-party independent audit to meet ISAE 3402 international accounting compliance standards.

The Dutch data center allows the INetU to offer managed hosting to European customers. According to Dev Chanchani, president of INetU the expansion of the company to the EU market is logical in the company’s efforts to “meet the needs of its “ever-expanding international clientele”. He says that the initial feedback from INetU customers is “overwhelmingly positive” (Editor’s Notice: We doubt that anyone would say it was negative) and the company will “continue to listen to their needs and act accordingly”.

The company also says in its press release that  its “Amsterdam facility is a 24-hour operation that caters to a range of international clients by offering flexible and tailored solutions”. INetU also claims that its Amsterdam data center is “built for maximum security” and is “certified as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Section 9 compliant to ensure that online data and customer records receive efficient physical security”. However the company did not say in the press release which data center was chosen to host its equipment.

According to INetU’s, its Dutch facility supports  Dell R410, R510, R710, and R910 series servers and Cisco ASA firewalls and ACE load balancers.

VPSLatch Lunached VPS Hosting In UK And Netherlands

VPSLatch.net, an Orlando FL based hosting company announces that it now offer VPS Hosting services from in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Maidenhead, UK.

The company claims that the “recent changes to the Google rankings algorithm have meant that in cases of country-specific search results rankings, website’s position erodes if customers’ websites are hosted far from their target market (Editor’s Note: A common misconception despite that it is obvious that a website that targets Australian market, is better to be hosted on Aussie data center). According to VPsLatch those who target non-US markets, or who host websites on a country specific top level domain (TLD’s), “can yield massive gains in rankings, and visitor satisfaction, by hosting close to their target customer market” (Editor’s Note: A misleading statement, that has nothing to do with the fact that the VPSLatch hosting is probably a good choice).

The company’s start VPS plan offers 30 GB of space and 350 GB of monthly bandwidth. The VPS are based on OpenVZ/SolusVM (a good choice) and offer cPanel/WHM.
